Thanks for dropping by my Profile. Please tolerate my bad
spelling, I'll correct it when I have the time. My home
town is Venice Beach California, I lived in the Los Angeles
County Area most of my life. Twenty years ago I got the Hell
out of California, moved to Arizona and only return to visit
my oldest daughter, or for business. I miss the beaches,
Malabu, Santa Barbara, Channel Islands, Venice, Catalina,
and the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. I'm not going to get
started on what I don't miss in the State of California, it
would take several pages.
When I can afford it my spare
time is spent SCUBA Diving. Living in Arizona I have to get
real creative when I want to find an Ocean to dive in, Baja
Penincela, Sonora coastline in Mexico, and (my fravorite)
anywhere in the Carabean. Yea I know, $$$$$$$ I don't get to
dive in the Carabean as much as I once did, Oh well.
Enough of the dreaming. I work in the Addiction Treatment
Field here in Arizona, and hold a Behavioral Health License.
I attend two or three AA,NA meetings a week, but I need to
leave the area where I live to attend because the are too
many of my clients and ex-clients live in my home area. It's
hard to be yourself and practice rigerious honesty (get
real) when you work as a professional addictions counselor
down the street form your Home Group.
I have gone up and
down, broke and doing well, healthy and sick, happy and
unhappy in the twenty-five years of sobriety. I'm looking
for a "reatively stable" woman to share the next twenty-five
years with having fun in sobriety.
I guess I had better
list the serinty busters in my life today. I remain active
in the Community, local politics, and state politics. Yea I
know, what the Hell for? Well I'm also a recovering
Codependant and will jump in the fight for the little guy at
my own expense. My boundaries are allot better than they
used to be, and getting better by the day.
